I am also helping my brother out in this, He is losing coolant from the reservoir coming out the top. The last ride was 100 miles and he lost a half of he reservoir. Last year we did a leak down test and nothing no leakage his heat light is not coming on, so I didn't think it could be his water pump but maybe. I do not know if there is a thermostat or not or could the radiator cap need replacing. Kinda stumped the machine is still running good. Any Thoughts would help just trying to brainstorm. Yammi Nut

Coolant Loss
Did You Do The Head Gasket Mod . I Did On My Sled And I Keep Lossing Coolent Could Not Find Were It Was Going I Also Presure Tested The Cooling System And Had No Leaks . I Also Put Air In Cyliders. No Leaks . I Removed Head And All 3 Head Gaskets Were Leaking In Motor . It Must Have To Be Hot . And It Would Push Coolant Out Over Flow.
