Ok, widening kit is made, floats are on, M-10 is in....now its time for a new project. Next is the HID's. I am pretty sure I am going to need a battery to run these but I have a dilema. My sled was originally an ER so it had a battery at one time. But with the triple pipes all the luxury had to go. Yami sucks, (!! go fast....or go backwards and start with a turn of a key...... ). anyhow, now I need to find the wires and a place to mount the battery for the lights. Can anyone help?

Your not going to need a very large battery. Also check the charging circuit output on the old vmax its only like 1 amps. Basically a trickle charge. If the viper is the same way your not going to be able to hook the hid to the battery and go on your merry way. I think you'll need to have the battery fire the hid and then time out at which time the headlight circuit should be able to power the HID. And then the battery will just be trickle charged by the charging circuit. I could be wrong on the viper. But I doubt it because the battery is optional.

Nose around here for ideas:http://trailtech.net/batteries_capacitors.html
