Hi
I have near stock clutching set up from factory on my mm exept that it has the heaviest rivets avaiable. The sled has reed notch mod and hauck headgasket. I also have a hauck green secondary spring wrapped at 80 degrees with the stock helix. My problem is that rpms jump to 9000 when I launch off the hole. What can I do? I have a www spring avaiable and a 50/38 and a 51/43.
Do I need other parts to get the rpms down or what?

Toss in in the 51/43 & it should get rid of the initial overrev.
Thanks will try tomorrow.
UPDATE: for my riding a helix with a 51 degree initial angle will make the v-belt very hot.
