SRX 700 Triple Problem?

I just bought a 2001 SRX triple and on start up the temperature gage light flashes once with a brake and then three quick flashes but this continues until I run the sled around the yard for a bit.

The temp gage light is supposed to flash three times on start up to let you know the power valves are working but this is different I think.

Anyone have any ideas???

so upon start up it'll flash once then a pause then three fast ones and it'll
keep doing it over and over till you run it??

Yup that's right.

The one that's the closes i'm seeing is #2...check your wireing and
sensor
