Will a 70 link chain fit with a 23t top gear and a 40t bottom? This is on a 2000 SRX 700

Great, thanks. Any idea where you can get gears in Canada? They are pretty expensive through Yamaha.

GIVE YA A TIP. 97 SX 700 VMAX AND 2000 XCR 800 POLARIS GEARS ARE THE SAME. AND CHEAPER. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Thanks, I'll check that out. I just bought an SRX and it had 22/40 gearing in it. Seems like that would be for dragging or something, not trail riding. Isn't stock something like 23/38?

98's and 99's came with 23/37, 00, 01 and 02 came with 23/38's.

DUDE, YOUR GOLDEN THAN. GO DOWN TO YOUR CLOSEST POLARIS SHOP AND TELL THEM THE GEARS YOU NEED FOR A 2000 AND UP XCR 800. WAY CHEAPER THAN YAMAHA. ABOUT ALL POLARIS IS GOOD FOR !!! LOL. 3:16 (yammie tony)
