I ordered a set of crank seals for a 1973 gp433, and was told by the supplier that one of the two was no longer available.
The two seals I am in need of are:
part # 93103-32054-00
part # 93103-32156-00

does any one know for sure a supplier that still has them. I had an order with mfgsupply, but they said that the seals are back ordered and it will be a month before they get there shipment. And I fear they will wait till a month has gone by and then tell me they are no longer available. We all know how customer service is these days. Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks
Matt

The last time I ordered crank seals, my yamaha dealer was able to order them. They were on back order for a long time, but worth the wait.
You could use Kimpex seals, but you'll want to replace them when the Yamaha ones come. I've found that the Kimpex seals tend to crack in a short period of time.

where do you order kimpex seals from? Dennis kirk just offers Cometic, and only in a complete set. just did the top end and don't need the whole set. but if that is my only option, so be it. The "supplier" I spoke of was ronnies mail order. I was under the impression that he is just like any other dealer.
