We have a large group that is planning a snowmobiling trip from Aurora Wi to my camp just south of Shingleton Mi. . We are planning to take a northern route getting there and would like to take a southern route getting back. I see on the trail maps that I recently purchased, that trail 2 heading west into Gladstone ends and it has a dotted line for a proposed trail. But, on the internet it shows that trail 2 does continue around Gladstone and Escanaba so we could continue west toward Iron Mountain. Could you tell me if it's possible to get around Rapid River, Gladstone and Escanaba on trail 2 heading east to west? Also could you tell me what type of trail ... trail 2 is when you make a left and head south on it at Labranche? Is it a skinny snake (like 115 south), railroad grade or wide snake? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
