First Really Run with my SRX 700

I when out for my first run tonight with my 2001 SRX and LOVED it. I have owned a Phazer since 1986 and love the power my SRX has compared to my old sled. Man it's FAST!

I just about sh## myself when I hit the gas on the lake.

Anyone know any good sites to get after market add on's?

like riverrunner said search this site,lots of great info on maintenance and bling, and mods.

do make sure in that sled you run PREMIUM gas,,no exceptions,,and
BR9ECS spark plugs...

Just put $45 of the good stuff in it tonight and topped of the oil with amsoil... which i'm told is the best.

Just put $45 of the good stuff in it tonight and topped of the oil with amsoil... which i'm told is the best.

Oh and sorry,,i gota nag on ya more here,do these adjustment setting's
on your cable's free play...


Do these checks in this order;

1st- set idle to 16- 1,7000 rpm's(@ operating temp)

2nd- set throttle end play to 2mm(adjustment for that is down at the carb rack)

3rd- set oil pump cable free play here and here to 21(richer)to 22(leaner)mm

then set choke anytime to 1.5mm

Do you use the high performance Interceptor amsoil? I'm so used to putting that blue sh## in my Phazer that when I got this stuff I wasn't sure if it was the right stuff.

yup i use interceptor in everything,,when i first cracked one open and
started pouring it in i thought WTF is this regular motor oil!!! lol,,that clear
golden color threw me off,,was use to the yamasludg green.

I have been using MOTUL snowpower technosynthese oil from day 1 in my 2001 SRX, it now has over 10,500kms. with original pistons,rings,power valves and cables, reeds,
do I need too say more. Not to say anything bad about Daman's choice but he does not have a power valved monster.
