I'm Working on my clutching..... My 700 stock spring is y-g-y and i don't have it anymore, what effects will the clutching have by using a y-w-y (With or without a shim) have for my application? I really know nothing about spring colors.

Check in the tech section, they have all the springs listed with their preload and rate. Makes it much easier to make a decision.
