Nice looking sled Goody 700! Here in Ontario Canada it is pretty mild but we should be getting about 10 cm tomorrow afternoon. I think I feel a sick day coming! Enjoy your ride!

Thanks man! I've ridden it about 50 miles or so, the ride is not even comparable to the Proaction that was in it. It rides like a Caddy. I have it set up for good holeshots but still have decent trail manners. It's pretty fun, just sitting on it, I can pin it and it spins a little bit, but then about 20 or so it picks the skis up about 8-10" and just takes off, kinda feels like a power wheelie on a crotch rocket, just holds the skis up til about 80, it's too much fun!
Thanks for the compliment!

It's been snowing since about 2:30 here, been warm here too. Mid 30's the last couple days, suppossed to cool down to single digits by weekend, that and the 7-10" they're calling for here should help out. Forecasters said on the news tonight to not be suprised, some local areas may see up to 14". We're on pace to have a record amount of snow for the area this year. After this snowfall, it looks like we'll only be 8" or so from a new record.

I put an X ten in my 02 srx. It's great. adjustability is infinate & no more slidder issues. My sled is top speed oriented, & speed has increased if anything. My biggest issue w/ the stock skid was the slidders. 1st year 7 sets,& endless mods to make slightly better. not to mention a broken w arm. the skid looks like it was built for the sled!

How was the install? What sled did you guys pull them out of?

Mine came out of a 96 XCR SP 600, install took about 2hrs, pretty easy.
There are always edge skids on ebay cheap lately. They are newer than the 10's and ride somewhat better. Maxdlx
Whats it take to swap a edge skid in?????

What the suspension travel on the Xtra-10 and the Edge? The Xrta-10 does look likes it made for the SRX. I never liked the look of the Viper skid in there. Looks unbalanced.

X-10 is right around 10.2" travel, Edge skid I believe is around 13.5".
I just finshed bolting a x10 with a holz coilover kit into my 144" srx. I think I'm going to like it. The weight loss alone was worth the time.

I just put in an edg skid yesterday....All that is needed is (2) 1/4" plates to reinforce where the front arm mounts. It only too about 3 hours to install....well worth the time to do....and I have not made it off the property yet.

It's the model of the rear suspension (skid).... There are lots of skid swapping going on. Just depends on hich suspension your wanting and the type of riding your doing.
