Has anyone ever spun the drive shaft inside the drivers? I was riding yesterday and started hearing a racheting sound and just thought it was the track so I was trying to baby somewhere to tighten the track and it kept getting worse. When I got there I tightened the track and it still done it. I can't even take off feathering the throttle and keep it from racheting. I am thinking the the shaft may be turning inside the drivers.

check chain tension as well.
Chain tension is also my guess, I would doubt that you spun the drivers on the shaft
Also check your driveshaft bearings. When they go it sounds about the same.

Found the problem guys, you were right it was in the chaincase. The bottom bolt backed out through the chaincase cover. It has done this before because the chaincase cover was JB Welded there when I got it. I know I tighted the hell out of this when I put the gear back on, should of used lock tite I guess. Will use it this time.
