I was wondering if you could put up some pics of your install when you are done. Thinking of getting one for our vipers.

A clean steady source is the blue wire under the steering pad, I hook all my heated visors this way & ground to one of the four riser bolts...
I ran a long wire down the steering post, under the engine to the pto side & tie wrap to the original harness & back up the hood to the pod/dash on one of my application...

is there a way i can get it to hook up to one of the wires going into the digital speedometer? if not i will do it up to the handlebars but i didnt really want to have a long peice of wire going that far away for a power source!

power

The key is "good steady power". I run a aavenger 3 and have had it hooked up wrong. If your power fluctuates, so does your gauge, ( hand warmers, headlight areas are all a no no. I went to the ignition side after the key. Sleds on gauge works.
