How hard is it to find a water pump for a 78' SRX? I might be able to get mine machined. Looks like this is going to be a fun sled compared to the F/A's to get parts for.

I have a machinist that can make it like new with a repair sleeve. The pumps are a weak link and I'm not going to try to outbid a bunch of quadrobizillionaires on ebay for a used one.

Repair sleeve? Did the shaft turn inside of the bearing? Seals and bearings are readily available.Snojet Steve said:I have a machinist that can make it like new with a repair sleeve. The pumps are a weak link and I'm not going to try to outbid a bunch of quadrobizillionaires on ebay for a used one.
