After 3 long years my sled is back ready to go but I dont know what jets pilot or main to start out with Any help is appreciated heres my specs:
Bender race prepped case
stock 700 pistons cylinders heads
bender one off race pipes into silencers
vforce2's
stock rack carbs
Br9ecs plugs
Polaris primary
arctic secondary
Bender airbox mod
I am pretty sure that is it for motor wise I have had it started on the stand to circulate the coolant and fluids what would be a good starting baseline to be on the safe side I ride at sea level to 1000ft 0*+ weather usually more in the 10*-30* range
Also how should I set my oil pump up to start with?
Thanks A bunch I will have pics up shortly off this sled when it was a race sled-to how i got it- in progress- to finished when I get my good hood back from paint.
Thanks
Bill

well first thing to do is call bender to see what they reccomend since you have so much of thier stuff on it, then youd start off with thier specs and fine tune it.
The pilot jets, fuel screw adjustments-controls the idle and low speed of the sled, so does it idle smoothly? does it bog when you take off? are the spark plugs wet with fuel on low speed operation?
next you move to the needles, take the sled for a short half throttle run about 350-500ft long, kill the ign. and pull the plugs, are they light brown? what do the tops of the pistons look like? if they look good andbrown and dry make the half throttle run longer thistime and go a good 750ft at half throttle, same checks, if ok, move to the mains.
next youd move onto the mains, take the sled gain for a longer run wide open 500-600ft long, same plug checks, same piston top checks-if ok makea good 1000ft run wide open and recheck, if ok, it should be fine.
you adjust the motor to what the spark plug and piston top tells you, the motor will tell you if it want s more fuel or less and if you go thru the circuits 1 at a time, its very simple.
