Was out playing in the new 12" of snow we got here in Gennessee county yesterday and when I hit the gas from stop, it felt like the sled was slightly hesistating, like studdering. I think it just needs a new belt, but just checking with you experts to make sure. Thanks in advance.

Pilots clean? Sounds like it could be a lean idle circuit. Can you blip the choke and it helps?

Engine starts, idles, and runs fine. When I accelerate, especially at 1/4 throttle I can feel a little jerking, sputtering....

Take a look at the primary and see if you can see any black belt smears....then you will know if it was the belt or not.....my bet is you go snow in there and it is slipping
