A few days ago I was tinkering around with the sled(02 Viper) While checking the plugs , 2 nice and tan, 1 near white.Checked the piston and cylinder for damage they looked ok. Decided to pull the carbs give them a good cleaning. Noticed some ice crystals in the carb that went to the lean plug. I thought maybe the ice temporarily blocked the jet making it burn lean for a bit? I also found a chunk of reed petal missing( little smaller than a dime). I didn't look like any damage to piston or jug from the petal peices. I wanted to get it back trail ready as soon as possibe so I ordered a set of boysen power reeds(just the reeds no cages 97$) I'm hoping they mount on my stock cages and aren't just replacments for the boysen reed cages.
Thanks

I have those same petals on one of my SRX's, they bolt straight to the stock cage.

Thanks mopar, so those little petal chips that break free don't cause too much trouble down stream?

no, they're soft and the engine just spits them into the pipe.
