Help guys.... we have a 2000 phazer, started it up toook in the garage, added a 2 inch riser and now it wont idle??? what the heck??? does this sled have tors? it was low on gas, could it be carb problems? if i crack the throttle it will sit there and run fine, but as soon as u let it idle it immediately dies.... HELP the kids are driving me nuts!!!!!!!!

If you added a riser I'd look into the cables. Some times things get pulled out like the oil cable. Check your cable adjustments.

Yep, it has TORS. You can disconnect and connect the ends together to bypass. Just do this as a test, don't leave it that way of course. Especially with kids riding it.
If it isn't TORS, then . . .
See if it runs with the starter (choke) open halfway. If it does then your pilots are not letting enough fuel through. Either they are clogged or the fuel screws got changed. If it doesn't help it run then you are getting too much fuel. In this case readjust all the cables, which you should do everytime you add a riser anyway.
I just put another one of these back together, they are still quite simple even in 2000.

If the throttle was too tight you would think it would idle higher if anything. I have a 1999 phazer that does the same thing. Sometimes it idles fine and sometimes it won't idle at all. If you give it some gas it will stay running and when driving it works great. I have never found the problem myself.

Are the screws the same as an SRX? Turning them out richens the circuit and screwing them in leans it out?

iirc i turned them IN a 1/4 to 1/2(lean).....on these PZ's if your too rich on the idle circuit she won't idle right..
