a friend of mine runs a 700 xcsp and this weekend it ran crappy at about 5000 rpms if you could get it past this it was fine. it would also idle fine and if you let it sit it would act like was clearing itself. today we tore into it vacuum checking the fuel pump, reverifying stock jetting and cleanliness, vacuun checking the needle and seat, visually checking the reeds, visually checking clutches. gthe one thing that i noticed was it was wet all aroung the boost bottle where it goes into the boots and he said it was yesterday also. could it be the coils or cdi or stator what are the procedures for checking the polaris stuff? ant ideas?
