Pull the DCS??
04 mtn Viper all stock except rad valves. Problem DCS Light Flashing. 6500 to WOT. Brought to dealer tried a number of jet sizes and clip pos. new sensor. Premium fuel and now I have 175 mains 3 clip pos. and still light flash. Dealer is saying Cdi box next. I do not think it will work but willing to try any thing now. Dealer cheeked everything getting frustrated leaving on Friday for a big trip. Thank you guys. Tried spacer today on sensor no luck.
Dealer faxed Yamaha today no response. Running out of time Help!! Talked to a Hauck Service tec today said no harm in Bypass. But it is flashing for some reason. Seriously frustrating!

That is were it was except the reeds. 156.3 mains and stock clip pos. fuel screw and ERRR!! I dont get it. I Bypassed it today and made a number of runs and shut down to cheek plugs perfect. I am lost.
make sure those powervalve are not broke or cable

dealer checked and tested and adjusted. How about this! Since 02 and 03's have no DCS How much of A risk would be up jet 2 sizes and move needle to slot 4 and bypass the DCS all together the 02 and 03's run Great so? Looking and drawing at straws at this point. I appreciate any replies boys. Thanks again

Put 160 mains and clip stock. Spacer on sensor and still light. Anyone help. Also advice on risk of Bypassing DCS. Thank you.
did u put all clutch stock ??

Yep RPM's dead on 4000+- 100 Engage. Top end 8500 Dead nut!

Thought I should fill you all in. Talked with yamaha today. Pulled motor apart. I have got a modded out motor in supposedly stock sled so I was told when I bought it. The cylinders have been majorly ported and cut also the head has beed shaved. Compression tested 135 mag and center and 115 pto. Stacked two head gaskets and got the light to only flash not cut timming out so I am on the edge but should be fine. Thank you to all that have posted have a safe rest of the season.
