went out for a tour sat. I had too change my clutches due to the primary sheves are cracked. so i took the clutches off my dads srx put them on my sx and it worked it is really tight but it works. the problem i had was the last 60 miles it started to load up and backfire. It would come out of the hole really hard run up to 8000 and then it would loadup and rpms would drop then backfire and sounded like i lost a cylinder but if ya ran at 7000 it the cylinder would come back and then lose it the hole way home. i put on 185 miles sat. just looking for some tips thanks

if u are backfiring then u have ignition problems probley stator or cdi box, make sure u don,t have a broken reed valve, that will cause motor to miss and u will not be able to run ur rpm up as it won,t

The clutching for that sled is totally different. It is overloading your motor & the engine can,t run properly. The clutch will bolt on but the internal parts are way different. The clutching between the 2 sleds ain,t even close. Your talking about clutching for a 112 hp vs one for a 140 hp sled...not gonna work!!!!

you need to put the flyweights and spring from the sx clutch into the srx clutch

loading up

there is not much difference in hp cause his is stock and my has all the goodies so the hp is about the same. Also it worked all day just till the last 60 or so miles it started to run like crap. thanks for the info.
