Idle problems

Hi I purchased this sled a while ago, just put new stator, fresh tune up, but since I had the sled I could not get it to Idle, as soon as I let off the gas it stalls out right away, but when I ride it the thing flies, how do i set the Idle or what other problems could cause this?

Carbs, clean them....if you have clean em again. Is the idle screw set, in a sense open enough ?

yup clean 'em again if you already did,then pilots have small holes,,dosent
take much to plug then,,check throttle end play too..

blow evrything out with shop air...

you could try turning the idel up. It is a big white screw on the side of the carb rack righ where the throttle cable hooks up. Flat screw driver head. Maxdlx

Sounds like your tors switch isn't working. Down by the idle adjust screw are the switch and wires (black and black/yellow) just unplug them and loop them together to bypass it. Make sure your throttle has about 4mm play only.

TORS doesn't affect idle and 4mm is too much for TEP..1.5 to 2mm..
