2000 SRX 700 light problem

Hey guys... my dads sled temp light blinks 3 times when you first start the sled and the temp sensor light stays on. The sled runs great! But the light doesnt not shut off..... Thermo Sensor maybe? Any input?

try unpluging the sensor,see what it does then,(under the water rail right

I'm at work, sled is at dad's house. I'll try it tonight when I get there. I'd imagine it would shut off if I unplug it, right?

Is there a rely switch maybe that keeps the light on?

Powervalve are good and clean... Sled runs like a raped ape.

Hey I just seen your from Bad Axe... I hang out in Harbor Beach alot. My wife is from up there... Ubly has their poker run this weekend.

it would kinda tell ya thats the sensor may be bad, if unpluged it's off pluged it's on,then you could pull it and ohm check it for spec.

Harbor Beach huh,yea good little town,,lots of lake effect when storms
are right,we usally take tour over there each year..good riding that way..

Bad weather

Didnt get a chance to work on it Daman. Bad weather mad my commute 2 hours to get home last night and wife got called in to work and I had to watch the kids. I'll try tonight.
