I just got my hands on a used pipe for a Trailing arm phazer.
The prior owner didn't have any information on the clutching or jetting required for install.
Anyone have any info for this?
What is the drilling of the main orfice effect? I've heard alot about the mid range lean spot for the butterfly carbs and was wondering if I should do this or not...

Is this phazer the same engine as the older phazers? I jetted up 2 sizes with my psi pipe and it seems fine. I have only tested at my house and I can get to full throttle but not hold it there. So I am taking all my tools with me when I go on a trip in case somethign is wrong. I drilled out my primary nozzle to richen the midrange but I thought that was somethign Yamaha did in the later models? I also put in a stiffer primary spring and that seems to be what I need. Again I need to get up to a much bigger space to see how the top end is.
jetted up 1 size with the hauck pipe. 99 phazer. I cant believe it would be much different

PM Allen Ulmer (SRXSPEC). They had a very good setup for that combination.
