sx 600 temp light

my '97 sx 600's temp light starting flashing last night. It flashes one time, paueses then blinks 3 more times.
anyone know what that means?

The one that looks the closes is shorting in the water temp sensor..

check your plug make sure it's snaped on tight and there's no broken wire
by the end of the plug,check wire harness,sensor could be bad..

unplug it and start it,does the light still come on??

thanks it was the wire going into the temp sensor.

it was a broken wire. right as it goes into the plug for the temp sensor
