I just re-did the motor on my dads sled, and his air/fuel adjuster screws are on the side of the carb by the air box. (not on the bottom like my '00 Sxr). It looks as if it is an air screw by looking where it comes thru the carb, can one of the experienced tuners verify this.
When I adjust these from a light seat does the mix get leaner or richer while turning them out? I reset them to where they were when I cleaned the carbs during the rebuild but the sled seems to load up at idle. Thx for the help. T
P.S. I know that I could figure this out if I had the sled in my hot little hands, but I dropped it to him last weekend and may go back this weekend.... Thx again.
