SRX power valve leakage

I have a 98 SRX700 with 4000 Miles and noticed oil/exhaust residue leaking from the power valve where the cable meets the holder. The cables also have considerable play in them. Anyone else have em leak before? Are they out of adjustment if their loose? I half assed cleaned em 300 miles ago.

Try cleaning and adjusting them, then replace the gaskets and o-rings on the other side of the cable. You'll probably pick up a few extra ponies and the machine will run properly.

Easy fix....re-place parts #20,27,31, yes should be some play in the cable,
did you adjust them right???
