Front axle bearing in chaincase discinegrated. When cleaning chain case and cover with solvents should bearings come out first or just be prelubed with just gear oil when reinstalling? Any other do's or don'ts or helpful hints?
You can clean them, you just need to blow them out real good with compressed air <--Just becareful to NOT let the bearing spin wildly as it is dangerous and not good for the bearing because of no lube. Pre lube before assembly.
