Alright this is on topic but off at the same time for the SRX/Viper thread but here it goes. Ill will be removing my Single Piped Viper motor from the sled itself and will be installing it in a Custom 2 seater Mini Sandrail(600-800LBS Complete). My question is would a 22inX19in Double pass Alum. radiator provide enough cooling even on a 100deg day. I would be installing a 14in electric fan along with it, I just wanna know if I should go with a bigger radiator or not. Please any input or experience on this topic is welcome.
Heres the link of the frame Ill be using, its the SS2/SureShot2:

I think a radiator that big with a fan on it would cool it, the key to a good radiator is core to fin contact surface, the wider tubes of the alum radiators cool alot better then the old brass tubes do, so its like a 2 row alum cools the same as a 4 row brass, the alum radiator has more tube to fin contact surface. Make sure thef an covers asmuch surface ara as possible to get the best efficiency from it, post some pics of the build, sounds pretty nifty!

Cool...... thanks for your input Don. I was between a AFCO 22in and a 24in Double Pass which I can get for the same price from Summit so I might just go with the bigger one. Pics will be posted but I have to start the project first, my Lincoln 140C just showed up today so I have a new toy to play with till I can drop the coin for the frame.
