Any idea how to put a price on individual used parts? I am interested in the primary and secondary clutches on a Phazer with around 2,500 miles.

Any idea what they are worth?

Thanks.

Rule of thumb

A good rule of thumb with parts in good condition and that kind of mileage is 1/2 the cost of a new one. Popular stuff can bring a little more and common stuff that doesn't break a little less.

Just what Matt said, typically about 1/2 of new is a good starting point.
As far as your clutchs?? What gen Phazer is it? Normally decent used Primarys seem to be in the $125 to $200 range (except the new 4 stroke stuff). and secondarys seem to float around the $60 to $80 range.

Once again all this depends on model and desirability

Try a search in the classifieds to hone in on sale values

yeah, typically I go for used items for any sort of item (sled, car, boat, etc) a maximum 50% of new, provided it is in like new shape. If it is any higher I don't bother, unless it is a rare/ hard to find/ desirable part. But those are few and far between, esp if it is a stock part.
