Has anyone ever put a viper engine in an 01 srx chassis???What all is involved?? ie:jetting and exhaust???

An srx700 is stagger jetted 150,148.8 ,148.8. A viper uses 3- 156.6's . After installing viper engine in 01 SRX chassis, using SRX pipes and carbs, should you use 156.6 viper jetting????This couldn't be the first time anyone has done this is it ???? Any info greatly appreciated.

the viper engine is roughly the same as the srx engine though....right?

Yep, A friend replaced smoked out srx with vipe engine.He used his heads, carbs and pipes.Had sweet looking adapters made to bolt tripple srx pipes back on. Apparently it downright boogies.I thought that if vipe runs 156.3 MJ's in all three and it now has srx carbs stagger jetted using 150/148.8/148.8. this may be of concern?? This must be the first time anybody has ever done this???Vipe has bigger pj's as well and racier port timing.Any knowledgable help would be great.Had to put the engine I got off you in V-4 as I burnt down one piston.
