Howdy folks...
I just picked up a 98 Phazer Mtn Lite for my wife. It's super clean but runs like - - - -. I'll be pulling the carbs and cleaning them later today and was wondering a couple things. Without the vacuum dial, how could I sync the carbs? I suppose I just "eye-ball" the butterflies? Also, could anyone tell me if this sleds stock carbs are the same as previous year Phazers?
The sled has super crappy low end throttle response...major "bog". Mixture screws are 1.5 turns out. Throttle cable freeplay is @ 2mm. Idle seems to flucuate between 1600 and 2100.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the forum TY.

Set the idle mixture screws to where it works the best.

Thanks, I found the problem (super nasty carbs w/ plugged orfices...) and I simply eye-balled the butterfly valves....we'll see what happens later today on the white stuff.
