2006 Apex bars on 98 SX700?

I just bought a 06 apex handle bar with hooked grips. Has anyone tried this on a 98 Sx700 with a 2 inch riser? I like the idea of having heated hooks.

The 06 bars aren't heated on the ends...It's the 07 bars that are. I am running the 06 bars on a 02 SRX and love them. The grips don't get as warm as I would like, but they are still pretty good. I tried the 07 bars and couldn't get any heat out of them unless ran in series.

I am bringing this one back. I would like to do this mod soon. What throttle lever setup do I use to put these on. My bars have one piece throttle controls. I think I would like the 2 inch risers also.

I used an aftermarket throttle block, but I think you can use a Viper two piece throttle block. Betheviper will know. I used a 4in riser which put me about 2-2 1/2 in higher than stock.

doing this mod now, just realized I am a idiot,
cant install the one piece throttle block
so is that right I need a Viper two piece block?
or WHAT?
