The red portion of the seat on my Viper S is getting black and nasty looking.
Any suggestions for a safe cleaner that works to remove the residue?
Thanks,

I use bleach white and everyone will tell you not to. I am VERY fussy about the looks and it hasnt ever harmed my stuff. I do wet the seat first though, never used it on anything dry.

my brother did a 1980 seat on a ss440 with a cleaner called back to black. seat looks brand new and it looked like crap before he did it.

back to black is a meguires product, works good, but more a restorer and less a cleaner. just leaves it nice, black, and shiny :)

I'v discovered the secret weapon Mr. clean magic eraser four or five strokes and your done it's that easy. It's a 4" x 3" white pad you get it wet and rub, the stuff comes rite off. You can find it in the cleaning department. Good luck
