What is all needed to change out a 600 to a 700?
My friend blew his motor up on his 600 sxr, so i told him i will sell him my extra motor from my 700sx and I was wondering if he would be able to with out any problem(wire, cdi, and exaust) anyone try this out yet?

Don't quote me but the problem with it is going to be the clutching the pipes the cdi and electrical system.....it will get kind of expensive.....unless you have all of that stuff. Maybe that he is better to part it and buy a different one.....My 2 cents...RR

600-700 use the same pipes, The 600-700 share the same crank, crank case, and rods. Jugs, heads, pistons, carbs, carb boots, and clutching are different. A buddy of Mine put 700 jugs, pistons, and carbs/boots on his 600 bottom end/stock pipes using the 600 electronics and clutched accordingly and hasn't had any issues for the last 1,500 miles.

If only the carbs, carb boots, and clutching need to be changed, I just may be upgrading to a 700 on my blown up 600
