Did Some Riding This Weekend In Island Pond Vt With My 2001srx 700, Awesome Conditions!!!! Stopped At An Intersection And Noticed My Rear Snow Flap Was Sucked In And Getting All Torn Up With The Studs. Any Other Flaps I Can Buy To Prevent This?

On mine what I would always do was to carefully bend the very bottom lip of the tunnel where the snowflap attaches so that it would push out on the snowflap and would keep it from getting sucked in on high speed runs or when backing up in powder. You can also put rubber straps from the rear of the tunnel to the snowflap and if you use a stiff rubber it will help hold the flap out, and will also prevent it from flapping up and roosting riders behind you.

I riveted another piece over the back piece so it sits lower to stop the flap flex.

You can put a short piece of plastic between the snow flap and the tunnel which will stop it from getting sucked in.

Just bought a new one last year and its already toast, came down off a jump i didnt expect to hit and somewhat landed on it, top out two of the rivets then it sucked itself in the rest of the way.... to be bearable i trimmed it right under where it says yamaha, doesnt look like itll suck in again this year.
