At the beginning of the year my sled had no spark. I ended up getting a used one on here from a guy. I am able to start my sled and once its running is runs great but everytime I go to start it it takes 8-9 pulls to fire up and last year it always fired up after 2-4 pulls. Also I have major dimming going on when i switch from high beam to low beam and when I hit the brake. Also after riding it for a day or so last trip I lost my hand warmers. I know all about the rub trough and unless I have one under the gas tank Im all set. Ive been trought that damn thing a million times now.

Im not lucky. I always have somthing to work on. Tranny just went in my truck yesterday. 1800.00 to rebuild. I wonder if Ill ever not have anything to work on? That might be nice.

Just an update. Yesterday I took gas tank out and dumped it. There was a little dirt and what not at the bottom but nothing terrible. I checked and retaped the wire under the tank. I rechecked the wire running along the frame under the shroud and it was all good. What i did find is the orange wire going into the cdi was exposed. When I pierced it to test earlier this year I must of not taped it back up. I also put my old cdi back in since it wasnt my problem in the first place. <stator-no spark> All wires in my seat were perfect and there was no green crap built up in the bulb or anything. Lastly I found my problem with my handwarmers too. Due to my testing earlier again the wires wernt seating properly where the keyswitch plugs in and it had been arcing and melted a little of the plastic in the plug so I cut it out and crimped it together with a connector and bam, Nice toasty handwarmers. YOu really dont appriciate them till your riding with freezing hands.
