sx viper pistons and rings

i just want to do the pistons and rings on a 2003 sx viper do i have to do anything with the cylinders.

Would be a good idea to have them measured and honed.

Cyl's sould be fine,there nic plated,very tough,mabe a qwick hone with a
240 grit 3 stone spring flex hone to cut the glaze some...then thats if ya
want to,really not necessary..

use OEM parts...
