are yamaha powervalve and non-powervalve cranks and case the same??

hey

i was just wondering if my viper crank and crank cases are the same as a non powevalve yamaha crank and crank case? i was thinkin of makin my viper a non powervalve if i just need to get 3 blocks and pistons! just wondering because i got a chance to egt these parts for a deal!

no parts transfer from the red head engine to the viper. why would you even want to lose power?
