I don't want to buy a new windsheild.
Go to a motorcycle shop, and ask for some sheild polish.

Stuff called Novus. Theres 3 kinds Novus 1 , Novus 2 , and Novus 3. One is for heavy scratches, ones for light scratches, and ones to polish. You can use all 3 in order. Never used it on a windscreen but used it on plastic things with good success. If they make something specific for this like mentioned above you may just use that with lots of elbow grease.
Loctite used to put out a cleaner/polisher that works great. I used it 2 days ago on my hood and my windscreen and all I can say is WOW....Both are black and you can hardly see any scratches on either one now.

I use the Novus stuff at work all the time. It should do everything you need since I use it on windows of $7 million + aircraft.
