I see a 1990 250 Bravo in the local paper for sale and I thought about picking it up for my son but would like some insight as to any problem areas these sleds had.I realize that the obvious needs to be scrutinized like the track, chassis, skis and engine, which is stated as running well in the ad,but what about the things like electrical or crank bearings?Should I look for something specific as being a weak spot?

make sure the exhaust isnt cracked around the flange, seems to happen alot, crank bearings are impossible to check without taking the motor apart but the bearings are fairly cheap and easy to change. side engine mounts usually break also. if its a long track check to see if the chassis is cracked at the rear suspensions front mounts. also they seem to have starter problems alot.
but all these things arent to bad because its a bravo so the parts are usually pretty cheap and they are pretty easy to fix even if you dont know what your doing.
