Aproach angle question

I am thinking of getting the new XTX next year or the year after. Some of the forums were discussing track approach angle. I understand the benefits of a shallow angle i.e. doesn't trench as much better on sliders etc. My question is what is the benefits of a steeper angle, handling?

Higher speed - the less sharp corners the track takes, the faster it will go.
Better ride - takes bumps better.
