Are the SRX and SX reed spacers the same??? if not , what is the difference?

spacers should be the same, but on a srx or viper, there is no need to install reed spacers. only sleds to put them on are the "red head" triples. the reason for that is because the reed stopper blocks off some of the port. the reed spacer or reed stopper mod is whats needed to unblock the port. on the power valved triples, reed spacers not needed. wouldn't spend the money on them if it were up to me.

no prob
Use the spacers in your SRX. better flow = more hp.

i just put them in my srx what a diffrence just in throttle response. i recommend doing it.

I'm gonna throw them in then. I never tried then before because i heard they don't make any difference on a stocker. Heard they same about aftermarket Reeds, anybody have any thought on they reeds.....

Reed spacers
Really, You do not need the reed spacers on your sled.No gain to be had. Best of luck with the sled.

after market reeds do help with fuel mixture thats about all. the spacers do work on stocker i have them.
There is about 1-1.5hp gain on the srx with reed spacers on the dyno. It's not much but everything adds up.

I'll take 1 hp over none... thanks for the info pro116

If you lengthen the distance for the fuel to arrive in the cylinder, you get a lag in throttle response. I've tried the spacers before in my SXR700 and the hesitation was noticeable. Remember the old Exciter liquid cooled 569cc? The 1987-1992 had longer intake necks on the cylinders. The 1993 Exciter SX had very short intake necks on them creating instant throttle repsonse. Just something to think about. Can't say I tried them on my Viper and I have never owned a SRX, but IMHO, I would have a hard time thinking there would be a worth while gain here........but then again??

Yep flatslides too. I knew a guy that used to cut the intake flanges shorter and re-weld them on the old Exciters to get more throttle response from them with the Vm's and it seemed to work well.
