I'm going to split the cases on the 89 Ovation motor I got to check bearings and replace the seals but I don't have a clutch puller for that motor.
I have one from my 96 600xt and I'm pretty sure it's the same one to use on my SRX.
Will my puller work or will I need something else?

Yep it will work,if it works on srx it will work. Worked on mine anyway.
