Boondocking and climbing in powder is getting me a hair over 6mpg with my SLP's. Three or so years ago I went on an all trail ride (not enough snow to play off the trail), I got 11.5 on that ride. Huge difference where/how your riding.

There you go it depends on what riding you do. Figure a 3 to 4 mpg lose at the pump with pipes.Ok was thinking about this today because of this tread, How could skidoo get 20mpg out of there sleds (they doo get good fuel mileage) and was thinking it might be something That a normal person could figure out with are sleds not that there bad on fuel it was a thought during the day? Mod-it what do the other riders get for fuel mileage when you are riding?

My 05 Mtn. viper w/ SLP's, flowrites, gets about the same mileage as mod-it does but my old MM with Power Inc. end dumps got 10-11 mpg all day no matter what kind of riding I did, go figure.

Couldn't tell you what the other guys get, they never bother to check. I can say that our day rides are usually around 40-50 miles, mostly boondocking and hill climbing miles, and they all pack extra gas. They can't be doing very good. They all have smaller tanks than the Viper, around 8-10 gallons.
If mine got better that would be nice...but I didn't put pipes on it for fuel milage so I don't really care. Old addage, you pay to play.
