im having a small problem with my 01 sxr 500 idol....it idols VERY low and almost seems like it wants to die...the rpm gauge is pretty much sitting at 0...im guessing i need to adjust the fuel screws on the carbs....but im looking for some pics or some help as what to adjust just so that im not screwing around with the wrong things and screw up the fuel flow...any help would be nice..thanks guys
pilot jets are plugged in the carbs... Maybe just 1 because it still idles!!!
Clean the carbs then set the idle.

Yes I had the same problem and found one of the carb jet needles were pluged, cleaned the needle and she idles fine at 1600 at tach

Yes cleaning carbs are always a good thing,but is this just a simple thing
of needing to idle it up some with the main idle screw??
