nice looking arms and they are invisible even!!!What am I talking about?Got to lay off the sauce..now I am seeing things. They look cool.LOL

a little heavy for my own taste, but thats what he wanted. you can kind of guess how he rides by the looks of that shock, the sad part is he probly wont replace it until its almost unridable-just his nature i guess.

Hope he likes popping rivets. They look nice, but thats a sure way to twist a tunnel. Maxdlx

Yeah

That was my first thought too Paul.....he better keep a tunnel in stock! Or maybe he could build some running board stiffener plates out of like 1/4" steel or somthing! LOL!

ditchpickle delight?? look strong, but they are meant to be the weakest link, as said above lol! you guys need to find some groomed trails :)

You did a nice job but as posted above not a smart move if you end up hitting something in the front. I really dont see why youd need to beef up the trailing arms anyway since I beat the piss out of mine and have yet to bend a stocker. Only time Ive bent one is when I hit something like a railroad bed, which was OE(Operator Error) which sounds like your buddys case. Sorry I just dont see the point esp. when I know those weigh more than the stockers.

so now when he hits a culvert and the arms dont give it will peel the tunnel off taking his feet with it causing broken bones okay I dont think I like that but nice fabrication skillz

yup first thing he hits he is going to wrinkle the hell out of the tunnel!! been there! I reinforced a bent stock one only to have it take out the tunnel the next time I hit something!!!!!! good luck and I hope you like rivets!!

Make sure he is wearing chest protection, without the TA's taking the shock he will go into the bars with more force. Had a good guy hit a culvert and into the bars he went rupturing a main artery and bled internally and died before the ambulance could get there (took them 10 mins).

Nice fab work though they look really nice. Bent tunnels stink though.

I explained that to him, but he insisted. thats just the way he is though, cant tell him anything. its his problem i guess.;):D i built them to his specs and you know what they say, the customer is always right!

yea, i offered to find him some newer shocks in the classifieds here, but he wasnt concerned about them at all, hes a nice guy and alot of fun to ride with but just doesnt take care of his stuff at all.thanks for all nice words about the fabrication, would rather build it than buy it.i should have a nice aluminum seat riser posted this weekend!
