Looks like the best March sledding in history & my sled is laid up...waiting on a front cooler & track :o| . Started to tear into it a bit...I'm like a puppy  looking out the window, I did the driveway twice...anyway, any of you guys on the east within this storm, enjoy your day/night/week...yes...calling for good temps & snow all week :WayCool:

At least you got snow blue, for what it's worth..lol,,my season's about done
i think,,snow's 80% gone and no chance of another storm here,to late in
the season, once we hit march it's about all over....

gota get your self a back up sled blue,i would never have just one..lol

Worst news is changing out that front exchanger, if you can weld it, have it welded in place, they are a B I T C H to change out. Didn't mean to rain on your already sad parade, but just wanted to know what you are getting into, if you didn't know already.

my father in law used marine epoxy to get his back on the trail quick. still holding up lol!! just a thought

I have not looked, but is there any chance you can by-pass the font cooler and just watch your engine temp till the season is over. By-passed a front cooler on a '06 4 stroke Polaris on the trail last month.

My season is getting close to an end here in MN too...well blues just think of how sweet the new track will be in all that fresh snow......with that kind of anticipation, you will have that cooler back in, and be riding in a couple hours...LOL

And my sled is sitting about 130 km's away from me............I really should just tow it back and forth......
Got any really steep hills? Tow it to the top and then coast down as fast as you can . . .

Good idea Ding!

theblues - Take it to Carlington park, you can use the tow rope to get up! They let you do just about anything there. I've had my 1/2 ton truck to the top and back down.

This is funny. I rode with a guy Ben from the Bristol in Wawa. He had a 97 mountain max, they were up Caribou hunting way up in North Bay and took a rock through his front exchanger. They took a hose and bypassed the front heat exchanger by running a hose over the motor. I rode with him about 4 years later, sled was still running with the hose over run over the top of the motor. Had 40,000 km on it.
