2000 Srx Temp Gauge Flashing..HELP !

I have a 2000 srx . I fired it up today and for the first time i have a gauge flashing. The temp gauge flashes 7 times in a row. Anyone have any idea what this is or what it means ??? Is it giving off a code ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks

i know the light flashes a few times on start up.... its basically checking it self over making sure everything is functioning properly..... 7 times is too many though

There's a problem with your servo motor, "discontinuity or shorting" is
detected..

take off your servo motor cover wile starting and see what it's doing,rev it
up(65-7,000)is it pulling the valves open.

have your cleand your pv's latly?

It keeps flashing 7 times repeatedly .Valves are perfect.hmmmm ...i'll take the cover off and take a look ! thanks daman !!

^^thats normal,the CDI is just doing a systems check..
