I have a 99 sx 700 and when i go to bar it, it lags and boggs out a little, but then i bar it again and it just fly's, plsu when i race my budies, it pulls and gives er more when i ease the throttle, rather than wacking it.

If it acts goofy in deep snow too its your clutch up shifting to fast. Otherwise sounds like the lean bog. Flip the choke and try it.
