How do you know when to change the chain length? I have a 99 with stock gearing 23/37 & chain which I think is a 68 link according to the service manual. I want to try a 20-40 set for grass. Also, if I run the 20 with the stock 37 bottom does the chain need to be changed?
I guess is there a # of total teeth that determines what chain to run?
